development phase - building the techical foundation of our players

FUTURES (U11 - U12)

game development phase - this phase takes the techical foundation build within our academy and

PERFORMANCE (U13 - U19)

5- 10 years old for those looking to get an insight into travel/competitive soccer

COLLEGIATE + U19+

result phase is a program that offers our collegiate players the opportunity to continue development through the summer

Tryout Notes

The Wheatland Ducks travel baseball program is pleased to announce tryouts for the 2025 spring/summer season. There is no tryout fee. Players should arrive 30 minutes prior to published times to register and stretch. Please attend the tryout time based on your player’s age as of May 1, 2025. Pre-registration is required.

4-5:30pm – High School Players (15U-18U)
5:30-7:30pm – 8U-10U
5:30-7:30pm – 13U-14U
7:30-9:30pm – 11U-12U
7:30-9:30pm – High School Players (15U-18U)
Dates: Monday, July 8th & Monday, July 15th
Location: Hoscheit Park in Aurora

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Thank you for attending tryouts for the Wheatland Ducks Travel Baseball Club. Coaches and Directors will be contacting players as soon as possible. Our goal is to have all players contacted as soon as July 22 and no later than August 2.

JULY 22 THROUGH AUGUST 2

Players will be contacted by phone or email regarding tryout status. The WAA staff will not have player status information until coaches have contacted the players.

BEGINNING JULY 22

Official WAA Player acceptances will be sent via email once coach rosters have been communicated. All players must register online or in person. Participants will have 72 hours to log in and formally accept their roster position once the email acceptance has been sent (from WAA registration system; Sports Connect). Online registration steps are below:

Accept the player position
Optional fall ball sign up will be available at this time as well for high school Ducks/14U
Electronically sign the Player Agreement
Select a payment plan option and pay initial deposit with credit card.
Call the WAA office at 630-978-2855 for registration assistance.

Top level coaching

Team Chicago boasts one of the highest qualified staff in the state with multiple A & B License coaches as well as a number of C, D & Grassroots licensed coaches. The staff has years of player development between them at all levels ranging from U7's to Professional International Players.
INDOOR PROGRAMMING

At Team Chicago we are lucky to call the WAA Indoor Complex our home, providing players with both turf and futsal options to continue development throughout the winter months.
TOURNAMENTS

To aid the the development of our players, tournaments are included in club fees to ensure players have multiple opportunities outside of regular league play to develop and be challenged.
LEAGUE PLAY

Offering local, regional and national level opportunities to our players is something we pride ourselves on, we utilize the YSSL & IWSL leagues for our younger teams & create opportunities in National League and National Premier League for our older more competitive teams.
ADDITIONAL TRAINING

All of our programs offer additional training opportunities for those looking for that extra piece of development, whether that be skills sessions, futsal, camps and clinics.
PRIVATE TRAINING FACILITY

Having a central hub at TC's Soccer Complex is crucial. The facilities help us foster a true player development centered club, that creates a player first environment where players feel at home.
